UNTO THE LORD

Not every assignment feels spiritual. Some tasks feel ordinary, unseen, or repetitive. Yet Scripture teaches us that whatever we do can be done unto the Lord.

This changes the way we approach the everyday. Work is no longer only about approval. Service is no longer only about being noticed. Responsibility is no longer only about getting through it. The heart asks, "Lord, how can I honour You here?"

Doing things unto the Lord does not mean overworking to prove worth. Your worth is not earned by productivity. It means offering your life to God with sincerity, diligence, and love, even in places where people may never thank you.

This also challenges half-heartedness. If something has been entrusted to you, bring faithfulness to it. If your attitude has become bitter, bring that to the Lord too. He cares not only about what we do, but how we do it.

Jesus lived fully surrendered to the Father in both public ministry and hidden years, and Luke 2:51-52 shows that "he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them," while He "increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man." No season was wasted because every season belonged to God.

Whatever is in your hands today, do it unto Him.
