A SOUND MIND

Fear can be loud. It can rush ahead, imagine the worst, and make the heart feel trapped before anything has happened. But Scripture says God has not given us the spirit of fear.

The Lord gives power, love, and a sound mind. That does not mean believers never feel afraid. It means fear is not our master, our identity, or our guide. We can bring fear under the truth of God.

A sound mind is not cold or emotionless. It is a mind steadied by truth. It remembers who God is. It refuses to make fear the final authority. It learns to pray before spiralling and to trust before reacting.

Love also drives out fear. When the heart is secure in the Father's care, it becomes freer to obey, speak, serve, and step forward without being ruled by self-protection.

If fear has been leading you, pause. Name it before God. Open His Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to steady your thoughts and strengthen your heart.

You are not helpless under fear. In Christ, God gives a sound mind.
