No One Will Snatch Them

Jesus speaks with deep assurance in JOHN 10:27-28 (ESV): "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." Then He says, "I give them eternal life, and they will never perish."

The believer's security rests on the Shepherd, not the sheep's strength. Sheep are not known for power. They need guidance, protection, and care. Christ knows His own, calls His own, gives life to His own, and keeps His own.

This is comfort, but it is not carelessness. Jesus says His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. A life that refuses His voice while claiming His safety should tremble. But the weak believer who hears and follows, even with trembling steps, can rest in the grip of the Shepherd.

ROMANS 8:39 (ESV) says nothing in all creation "will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." The keeping love of Christ is stronger than every threat.

Listen for His voice in His Word. Follow Him in obedience. Rest in His hand. No enemy, failure, fear, or power is stronger than the Shepherd who says no one will snatch His sheep from His hand.

This security should make the heart tender, not careless. The Shepherd's sheep know His voice. They are kept by grace, and grace teaches them to follow. If you belong to Christ, do not live like a stray thing without a Shepherd. Stay near His Word. Keep following when the path is narrow. His hand is stronger than your fear.

There is deep rest in being known by Christ. He does not keep a crowd from a distance; He knows His sheep. Your safety is personal, purchased, and guarded by the Shepherd Himself.
